- 1982 Broads Travel founded by Robert Broad and Mike Webb
- 1984 Separate business travel and leisure divisions established
- 1985 IATA membership granted
- 1987 Broads entered the Advantage Travel consortia
- 1994 Headquarters relocated to Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield
- 1995 Mike Webb buys Robert Broad shares to become sole owner
- 1996 Broads Travel become part of Webb Hotels and Travel Group (wholly owned by the Webb family)
- 2004 Austin’s Travel acquired
- 2006 Lichfield leisure shop opened
- 2007 Broads cruise division established
- 2008 Broads established a dedicated hotel booking division
- 2009 1st £1m+ corporate account gained, plus new dedicated cruise website
- Broads Travel recognised as a fast track growth company by prestigious Buying Business Travel publication
